The Mapex Saturn Evolution Special Edition came out in late 2024 with maple and walnut hybrid shells finished in an outer veneer of maple burl blaze. With a halo mounting system, new special edition badge, its configuration is: 10, 12, 14, 16 with a 22 inch bass drum making this set an absolute workhorse.

New at NAMM, Mapex showed us their latest edition to the Black Panther Design Labs: The Equinox! Maple padauk hybrid shells finished in a satin black with a unique flat hoop and claw design on all the tom-toms which allows for a more open ambient clear tone.
