The Harmonix Experience: Where Groove Meets Grit

Every other week at Bird’s Basement, The Harmonix Experience doesn’t just play — they detonate. This isn't jazz for sipping wine and nodding politely. It's jazz with swagger, funk with fire, and enough sonic chaos to make your spine tingle.

Guitar slinger - Albare - leads a lineup that reads like a who's who of groove: Jake Mason, on the grease-dripping Hammond - Phil Rex, anchoring the low end - Andrew Swann, behind the kit like he’s got something to prove - Paul Williamson, slicing through with alto sax lines - and Salva Persico, stirring the pot with raw percussive heat.

They start with a sketch — a whisper of a theme — then blow the roof off. Acid jazz melts into streetwise funk. Rock edges flirt with Latin heat. It's improvisation with attitude, unpredictability with purpose.

This isn’t background music. It’s a front-row seat to a high-voltage jam session where the rules don’t apply — and neither do seatbelts.
